Bidwell is a peaceful country retreat in the heart of Daylesford, set privately at the back of a leafy garden allotment on a quiet no-through-road that leads down to Lake Daylesford. It is very close to the famous Amazing Mill Markets antiques emporium, and within walking distance of both the Lake and Daylesford’s main street with its shops, restaurants and cafes.

The cottage has a woodburning heater with firewood supplied for your first evening in the cottage, as well as a powerful split-system air conditioner for both heating and cooling. As well as the queen-size bed in the bedroom, there is a double sofa bed in the lounge. Free Wi-Fi is provided, as well as the Netflix and Stan streaming services on the smart TV. Check-in is from 2pm and check-out is by 10am.
There is a secure fenced garden and pets are also welcome inside the cottage. The long west-facing deck has outdoor seating and a gas barbecue. There is ample on-site parking available. The street address is 29A Fulcher Street, Daylesford 3460.
Our standard nightly rates are $209 for Sunday through to Thursday nights, and $329 for Friday and Saturday nights. Public holidays/long weekends and the December peak season might have different pricing. We have a two-night-minimum booking policy, except of course when there is a one-night gap between other bookings in the calendar, and different pricing will apply for one-night bookings.
Please note that, as from 1 January 2025, the Victorian Government’s new short stay levy applies, and an additional 8.1% tax (which works out to the required 7.5% of the total) will be added at checkout.
